Stand broke and did a lot of damage

Ive had this tv for a few years and its been decent but last night it came crashing down out of nowhere damaging furniture floors and the screen is broken of course. Nobody was even near it when it happened. The little plastic legs just broke.

Our first purchase of an LG TV and probably our last. TV worked great for roughly 3 years and then started going dim. After multiple conversations with Technical Support we ended up repairing it ourselves with a kit because it was out of warranty. If you decide to purchase from LG you should consider an extended warranty.

Bluish screen

Bought my TV back in 2018. It was a good buy. 4 years passed and suddenly symptoms started to show. The screen appears to bluish. No matter what setting I change it to it always reverts back to that bluish hue. I tries to do an update on it online and guess what... it does not have the option to connect to Wi-Fi. Technicians over the phone where baffled as to why it didnt have that feature- which it should. Technicians over the phone couldnt help me out with the issue and told me to call a certified LG tech which they never gave me the number for.

Poor software and hardware

The lights turned blue my internet on my tv no longer works and lg is the worst brand to buy now. I am fully convinced. Also Ultra HD deep color mode would always make everything dark and it never made the picture look better at all. This wouldnt be a problem if I had the choice to just not use it but I didnt have that choice. When I would connect my PC to my TV and launch a game or when I used my fire stick on the TV it would automatically switch to Ultra HD deep color mode and it wouldnt switch back. Whenever I turned it off it would go out of UHD deep color mode for about 2 seconds on turn right back on. Every time. I was stuck using that dark mode whenever I hooked up my PC and Fire Stick which made me not use my PC on my TV anymore and it also made me not wanna use my Fire Stick at all because I could literally see almost NOTHING half the time because it was so DARK. Anytime it was bright when I played a movie in UHD Deep Color mode I could kind of see a very dark version of a movie but thats all. Whenever a slightly dark scene showed up there was no chance of seeing anything. Whenever there was a really dark scene in a movie my whole TV would just turn black. Anyways to the next topic. The blue screen. The backlight LG bought was so cheap that the whole screen turned blue and it actually made my vision blurrier maybe permanently. It couldnt have been anything else because Im 19 and take very good care of myself. All your fault LG. I deserve some compensation for that if not all of the other problems I experienced with this TV. I had to go in my TV and repair it myself after all of that to replace the burned out blue backlights. Anytime I had my TV on before the repair which I actually did just yesterday it would be so blue it blinds you. I can attach a picture of before and after the repair to show you just how BLUE it was. Always blue no matter what was on the screen. I turned it all the way to red in the color settings one time to try to fix it and put a red picture on the screen to still get BLUE LIGHT illumination my WHOLE ROOM. Another problem I faced with my LG TV is the internet not working. Apparently this is also because of the companys bad parts as Ive looked it up and this is a very common problem. Its actually a problem on 2 LG TVs I have in my house. The TV would not find any available networks after searching for hours. It would just keep on searching not detecting any internet from anywhere my wifi the neighbors wifi or hotspots. No other internet detecting technology of mine has this problem with LG TVs.

4K SMART TV POOR QUALITY

We purchased TV not happy with its performance. The wireless internet never worked the picture quality is bad recently I CAN NOT GET THIS SMART TV to WORK. Your technician could not get resolve TV problems. We have been buying LG TVs for a long time. Our 3D LG TV has a better picture quality it isnt a freak in SMART 4K TV. Very up set with this purchase Its like once the warranty was 0ver the TV died or it became a dumb TV. I have always stood behind LG products but as of now???

Blue tint wifi not working

Ive has this tv for a couple years and it did work great for a year and then my tv started to display a blue tint on the picture quality of the tv. Wifi also stopped working so I had to to plug in an ethernet cord to watch netflix. Poor quality Ive never had a tv go broke after a year. LG served me well in the past but im going to have to go to another manufacturer for my next tv.

I have the same issue as most people that have had the tv for a few years. Cheap LED strips will burn out leaving a blue tint on your screen. Google the issue. I will never buy another LG product.

Color distortion

I bought my LG 65 Smart TV in 2018. Over the years I was completely satisfied. However recently there seems to be a dark shadow across the top of the screen. I spoke to a LG technician who walked me through the process of correcting the brightness and sharpness. But the next day the shadow returned. Im hoping to get this fixed asap.

Cant use my stereo anymore optical doesnt work.

I bought this tv brand new from best buy maybe 3 years ago and I love my tv until about a month ago I use my tv so my family and I cant watch movies and everything else you do with a tv. I have a very nice stereo system and I always have it on with my tv and it used to sound so good well I noticed one day last month when I turned it all on that I had no sound I did all the trouble shooting and its my optical output went out and the people at LG were awesome and they sent a technician out to fix it and he brought a new board and cable and still nothing so he called tech service and they told him there was an update that eliminated my optical output so that being said we havent watched the tv and the whole family is really bummed out about it everyone now stays in their bedrooms and watches their tvs. Do not buy a tv without Bluetooth all though I never wouldve thought my optical output would quit working but it did so now I just have a big tv in the living room and its going to be quite a while before Ill be able to shop around for a new one.
